The Client Account Specialist (CAS) is responsible for providing quality customer service to consumers, visitors, staff, and to any customers of the Betty Hardwick Center. The CAS will treat all consumers with dignity and respect and will assist with providing a treatment environment that is comfortable and safe, including face to face and telephone contacts. Daily service functions and other duties as assigned must be completed in a timely, organized, and accurate manner. Service functions include but are not limited to data entry, reviewing clients notifications to see what is needed for update, assisting with centralized scheduling, will complete financial assessment (fees), insurance verification, check disbursements, collecting payments, supplying receipts for payments, answering multiple phone lines when auto attendant is down, relaying timely and accurate messages to staff, managing the condition of the main lobby, including ensuring the water dispenser and cup dispenser are always stocked, the soft drink and candy machines are in working order, magazines are available, and the general appearance is orderly. The CAS must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The CAS must maintain excellent attendance and promptness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Computer literate
-Experience in mental health and/or medical services preferable
-Good clerical skills
-Customer service/receptionist experience
-Multiple phone line experience
-Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and be an insurable driver
Will be eligible for a one and two year step increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
