Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas is looking for a?detail-oriented, organized, and analytical Contract Specialist?to join our team!
This position plays an important role in supporting the organization’s?operations, contract administration, compliance, program monitoring, and risk management. Under general supervision, the Contract Specialist helps ensure programs, processes, contracts, and organizational operations are carried out efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
What You’ll Do
Review and interpret contracts, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
Support program administration, provider monitoring, and operational reviews.
Assist with compliance, fraud prevention, risk management, and investigations.
Maintain current policies, guidance, records, and supporting documentation.
Support Workforce Development Board operations and organizational initiatives.
Coordinate facilities, vendors, and other operational needs.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Identify potential risks and recommend process improvements.
Apply knowledge of Workforce Solutions programs, systems, and regulations to support effective operations.
Additional Requirements
Valid Texas driver's license or reliable alternate transportation.
Occasional regional travel required; limited overnight travel may be necessary for conferences, training, and meetings.
Employment is contingent upon funding and/or evaluation of duties.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of progressively responsible experience?in operations, program administration, compliance, contract administration, office administration, workforce development, or a related field.
Strong?written and verbal communication?skills.
Excellent?analytical, organizational, and problem-solving?abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively.
Ability to understand, interpret, and apply contracts, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
Postsecondary education, technical training, certifications, or additional relevant experience is preferred.?Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Additional Requirements

Employees?participate?in the?Teacher Retirement System (TRS)?and receive a competitive benefits package.? This is a full-time, regular position with an annual salary of $46,000–$52,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
