Audiology Technician

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidates will possess: medical field experience, knowledge of hearing aids, knowledge of Hearform (or a form of electronic medical records). CAOHC certified or licensed Audiology Assistant preferred but not required. This position requires the ability to read, write, communicate ideas, as well as having a basic knowledge of hearing aid function and design. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals. This position requires the ability to lift, walk and stand for long periods of time. A valid driver’s license is required due to the need to travel occasionally

DESCRIPTION: The Audiology Technician will be responsible for: providing device routine clean and checks for patients with hearing aids, tracking device warranty expirations, processing orders, processing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering supplies, maintaining clinic inventory and stock/supplies, work closely with accounting, the clinic director and all audiology staff. The Audiology Technician is responsible for cleaning and checking hearing devices, processing orders for hearing devices and hearing aid supplies, and maintaining inventory. The Audiology Technician works to ensure our patients are taken care of in an excellent and proficient manner. Will also be responsible for other tasks assigned by the clinic director. This position is M-F, 8-5pm.
