The Prescription Assistance Clinic Clerk (PAC) will be responsible for implementation of the Prescription Assistant Program (PAP) for all consumers. Each client will be assessed for eligibility for participation in PAP following each appointment with the clinic. Applications will be completed daily for consumers meeting eligibility requirements. The PAC will be responsible for reordering and monitoring changes of medications and reapplication. PAP and Sample Data bases will be updated daily. Medication mailed to the facility will be labeled, counted and given to the Clinic Team Coordinator for storage for the client and dispensing by the physician. Accurate records will be maintained and monthly reports for the number of screenings conducted, the number of applications filed, cost of medication received, and cost of samples dispensed. These monthly reports will be sent to the CFO, the Mental Health Nurse Supervisor, and the Director of Medical Services.
Qualifications:
•Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Preference will be given to those with coursework emphasizing computer literacy, medication and/or financial services and administration.
•Experience in mental health and/or medical services is preferable.
•Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and be an insurable driver.
•Must have moderate ability with computer skills to include use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, etc…and other programs like PBM and Med Data or equivalencies to monitor PAP and Samples in accurate and timely manner.
Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, flexible.

Will be eligible for a one- and two-year step increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
