Under the direction of the Chief Adminstrative Officer ensures the Center's revenue streams from third party insurance payors, including Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care and Medicare are thoroughly identified and fully accessed to maximize revenues. Supervises the patient accounting/billing department. Maximizes third party billings, like Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and other grants. Participates in internal and external meetings and consortiums on a state-wide level that focus on reimbursement methodologies. Completeness, accuracy and compliance with Medicaid rules and regulations are key factors in accomplishing the position objectives.

This position requires a Bachelors degree in finance or accounting preferred; extensive experience dealing with third party insurance with a strong emphasis on Medicaid reimbursement; prefer some knowledge of cost accounting; must possess excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; Experience using patient billing and automated business systems. Must demonstrate a high level of competency in the use of Excel.
