ASSISTANT SAFETY MANAGER:
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: This role exists to promote and augment safety on jobsites to the highest level. To reach this level, the Safety Technician must work both independently and together with the EH&S Manager to create a safe workplace environment. Using OSHA Standards and State and Local Regulations
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ·   · Conduct inspections of the site to verify compliance and identify unsafe conditions. · Maintain documentation necessary to comply with the Site Safety Management Plan,
OSHA, and other applicable regulations. · Work with the EHS Manager to enforce safety policies and procedures that help prevent accidents. ·  . · Verify that subcontractors are monitoring the implementation of the Site Safety Management Plan. · Able to adapt to a flexible, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment.
 
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: · Ability to implement written site safety management plan. · Understanding of construction environment and risks present. · Good comprehension of Health & Safety OSHA rules applicable to construction. · Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills. · Ability to use Microsoft Office Products including Outlook; Word; Power Point. · Must be organized. · Must have strong computer and presentation skills. · Team player.

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 2 years related experience.
