Jacob & Martin, LLC is seeking to hire a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E. or E.I.T.) OR a MEP Designer for a full-time position in support of our Building Services Division.  We are looking for a talented, creative & motivated professional who wants to be part of a growing, dynamic design team.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E. or E.I.T.) with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience OR a MEP Designer with preferred 5 – 15 years of experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD REVIT software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to adapt to and adopt new CAD standards and procedures

• Commitment to quality in the design and presentation of drawings
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Must be a continuous learner and good listener
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills
• Responsive and results oriented in service to clients

Roles and Responsibilities

• Using established CAD standards to prepare electronic drawings from marked-up plans and/or verbal instruction by engineers/designers
• Accomplish goals on projects timelines
• Coordination with engineers and other design team members
• Plotting and assembling construction plans

Proficiencies:  AutoCAD REVIT, MS Word & Excel

Education:

• Professional Degree from an Accredited University (preferred)
• Post high school technical coursework, certification or degree in computer aided drafting/design or related field work (preferred)
