Wire Transfer Specialist


  • Reviews, completes and posts incoming and outgoing domestic and
  • international wire transfers;
  • Daily filing of documentation including contracts and customer files;
  • Sets up wire contract customers and scans documentation;
  • Provides telephone customer service to account holders and employees with general inquiries.
  • Participates in job specific training, various bank training programs such as customer service and complies with BSA, AML and all other bank policies and procedures as required.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
  • A self-starting individual with a High School Diploma or G.E.D and
  • One year of banking experience.
  • Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Access software.  Accurate typing skills of 40-50 wpm and the ability to comprehend and utilize analytical data are necessary.
  • A hard-working team player with good organizational and interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication skills is required.
  • Mental concentration is necessary for accurately performing tasks while working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a weekly rotation from either 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • 2-3 years of Wire Transfer department experience preferred.
  • Prior new accounts or teller experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired.
