JOB TITLE: Maintenance Tech

STATUS: Full-Time

PAY TYPE: Hourly/Non-Exempt - $13.00 to $19.00 per hour

REPORTS TO: Fleet and Facilities Manager and/or Area Manager

More Clean of Texas is an exterior maintenance company working with both commercial and residential customers to maintain clean and beautiful properties. No matter the size or type of customer, we are committed to treating each property as if it were our own.

*** This position is based out of our Abilene, Texas location and requires

day-time hours five days a week with some evenings, weekends, and travel. ***

Under the supervision of the Fleet and Facilities Manager and/or the Area Manager, perform maintenance of the company properties and fleet, including performing routine and emergency manual labor.


  • Operate company vehicles (with approved MVR)
  • Inspect shop and storage locations for cleanliness, safety violations, and maintenance
  • Inspect all vehicles for cleanliness, safety violations, and maintenance
  • Assist in planning and scheduling routine and emergency maintenance of all shop, storage locations, and company vehicles
  • Coordinate repairs and planned maintenance under the supervision of the Division Maintenance Manager and Area Manager
  • Meet with contractors, service providers, or other outside parties needing access to shop or storage locations as directed by Division Maintenance Manager or Area Manager
  • Wear PPE as instructed
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Work outdoors for long periods of time in various weather conditions when required
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as directed


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background screening and drug test
  • Ability to follow both written and oral instructions
  • Ability to utilize email and iPad technology
  • Highly motivated
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Good oral and written communication with ability to follow both written and oral instructions
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment, as well as power equipment


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and/or bend. The employee must occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
