Loan Operations Specialist

Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate accounting history on all notes.  Also, "hands on" accountability for all notes held in a secured area.   There is frequent contact with customers, lending staff, other Holding Company Banks, secretaries, and other banks by phone.

  • Accept and process note payments, new notes and renewed notes including data input to the system for multiple banks. 
  • Communicate effectively with customers in person and on the phone. 
  • Assist lending staff, secretaries, other Holding Company Banks, Credit and Doc Prep. 
  • Become familiar enough with our loan system that you can be relied upon to recognize problems. 
  • Prepare special reports for the lending staff.  
  • Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
  • Communication and mathematical skills normally acquired by a high school graduate.
  • Twelve to eighteen months banking or administrative experience required. 
  • Loan operations experience preferred. 
  • Type 45 wpm, 10 key by touch.
