Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing, tax filings, and remittances.
  • Perform payroll-related year-end reporting, including W-2s and 1099 filings, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support the accounting team with bookkeeping tasks, ensuring client transactions are recorded and categorized correctly.
  • Assist clients with Accounts Payable processing and ensure vendor payments are managed efficiently.
  • Utilize client administration and workflow software to track and manage tasks effectively.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional payroll and bookkeeping support.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of payroll and bookkeeping experience (with a strong emphasis on payroll processing).
  • Experience with multiple payroll platforms, such as ADP, Gusto, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll, or other payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll compliance and reporting.
  • Excellent relationship-building, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
