Description
The Lifespan of a Fact is a razor-sharp comedy that pits truth against storytelling in a high- stakes editorial showdown. When a determined young fact-checker is assigned to vet a powerful magazine essay, he clashes with the essay’s charismatic author and a deadline- driven editor. What begins as a routine assignment spirals into a philosophical tug-of-war over the boundaries of truth, the ethics of narrative, and the cost of getting the facts “right.” Based on the real-life book by John D’Agata and Jim Fingal, this fast-paced three-hander is as intellectually provocative as it is laugh-out-loud funny.
