Description

Are you an entrepreneur? Are you searching for a way to connect with other entrepreneurs to discover solutions for your small business needs? The Abilene Chamber of Commerce and McMurry University Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship are excited to bring the Abilene community - 1 Million Cups!

Started by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, 1 Million Cups is a free program designed to educate, engage and inspire entrepreneurs over coffee.

Each month there will be a 20-minute presentation from a local entrepreneur who will present their business. The remaining 40 minutes of the event will be dedicated to informal networking with other entrepreneurs and students.

This is a great opportunity to discuss common problems, and potential solutions all entrepreneurs may face. This might be a great opportunity to market your work and brainstorm further. If you have a big idea and you're wanting to bring it to life - this is the place for you!

Free coffee and light refreshments will be served.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Katelynn Good in an entrepreneurship major at McMurry University and is the sole proprietor of The Golden Horse Bakery, established on August 23, 2021, as a home based business. She is selling seven variations of brownies and eight variations of cookies, with more to follow – including an exciting line of traditional Korean deserts.  As a nascent entrepreneur, she is excited to provide samples of her baked goods for your feedback.”
