DESCRIPTION:If you are a business located in Abilene's downtown\, we invite you to an enlightening and impactful meeting that strives to bridge the gap between downtown stakeholders and our local homelessness response systems. As members of the Abilene community\, we all have a role to play in addressing and mitigating the challenges faced by our homeless population. This meeting aims to create a shared understanding and foster collaboration among all key stakeholders. Courtney Horton with West Texas Homeless Coalition will lead the discussion as she goes over how you as a stakeholder can work with your local homeless coalition to respond to homelessness.\n\n\n\nPlease note: This event is being photographed and/or videotaped and your image may be used in connection with the advertising and promotion of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber encourages those in attendance at future Chamber events and functions to implement or practice any measures that make the individual feel the most comfortable in today's environment.
